My first ever house in Skyrim. May I present….Breezehome located in Whiterun. I purchased this from Proventus Avenicci for 5000 and currently at Level 68. I still lack the proper method to raise/earn money without having to loot from treasure chests or killed enemies. Sadly, the house needs to be furnished properly before I can get to adopt kids.

The Last Guardian – Longplay
Since I don’t have a PS4 (yet..still waiting for FFVII-Remake), I’d rather watch the Last Guardian being played.

Challenge-Based Loot/Medal Modifier update?
Let this post enlighten you guys on the official update. This update was enforced yesterday, June 3, right after the Twilek Event Challenge. Many were shocked of sudden medal win/loss changes as many just finished their final attacks for acquiring the Ultra-Chrome League prizes. Well, I’m not really sure why “time” this update unannounced to the public.
And here are some discussions on that.
I’m not gonna expound on discussion here as I’m quite surprised of this sudden change myself. I’m pretty sure those players who are staying up top the global rankings will not like this.

Hi,
Just to Thank you for sharing the pointer to your blog post in our squad chat. I’ll probably follow your strategy this summer.-

Thanks for reading it!:) it’s more of a personal experience/ assessment but I do not intend to encourage others to do it. It’s just that in real life there’s things that I need to balance out in order to justify why I did it and right now I feel it was the “better” choice.

By the moment, your experience is providing me a great lesson learned, which is how to play and enjoy the most but keeping a correct balance between game and real live: just changing the game’s main objective, which is only in your head.

Personally, I’ve not seen big problems in the game after the medal change. When I win on defense I now usually get much more medals (often over 30). But when I lose on defense, I lose also a bit more.
On attack I usually don’t see much change. A loss is still around -15/-16 currently. A win can sometimes be a bit higher.
But it is right. Life & Fun comes first. This tournament I missed Ultrachrome by 0.14% because I wasn’t there at the end and i didn’t put to much effort in it. Not a problem because I can usually update only one unit at a time.
By the way:
I am happy to see Teodolito also found the way to our squad forum:
http://www.swcommander.com/viewforum.php?f=49(That makes 3 posters counting myself in) 😉
You can access it also r/o without registering but you still need the password. (available via chat or PM)

The Medal Journey
It’s been a long journey and a very enjoyable one indeed. This is the story of my medal progression since I started this game back in September 2014. I must admit that for the first few days I had a very hard time finding good squads as most of them are either inactive or less than 3 members. Probably, most of them are still organizing their bases and focusing on winning medals.

Phew, that was a long way!
Interesting to read about the R2D2 combos. I began somewhere Jan/Feb 2015 and didn’t have any success with R2D2.Also interesting to see that you did/do intentional medal dropping. I had once such an attack with only a single solder and I guess that it was the same tactic.
For the moment, I still hunt for the medals a bit. But this will most certainly get less in the future. I am however happy that Disney keeps constantly changing and updating the game. Last year I spend some time with a completely different Disney App “Nemo’s Reef”. It was a nice play but then Disney basically ceased to support the game. No further events, no updates. It was also very disturbing that there was never any official info or an official forum.
I am absolutely not fearing this for SWC at the moment. The Star Wars franchise is rising, especially with the new Film in December. I am not really the biggest Star Wars fan. Just generally interested in Science Fiction and grew up with the Star Wars films. Episonde VI (III at that time) was the first title that I saw in cinema on a childs birthday.
I hope that you decide to still stay a good while active & in our squad. I found the last months in the squad quite interesting, relaxing and enjoyable.

Thanks! I didn’t realize I had a comment on this 2nd part. It’s basically me narrating the premise of my current game status. I feel it was a “better” choice on my part taking into account my real life situation. Also, it was not in my intention to influence others directly but instead give my experiences for them to realize that their own experiences will take them to what future they want this game to be. Most of the time I get into details too much in the in-game chat and please forgive me for that. That is the reason why I limit my exposure in the chat box. I do want to help and give opinions to our co-members, but I also need to control myself not to give too much to avoid the perception that I am going backwards and not forward.
Thanks for the helpful comments and I do appreciate it every time! 🙂LikeLike

STAR WARS : COMMANDER
I decided to write a blog about Disney/Star Wars’ mobile RTS game after I recently upgraded my Headquarters to Level 9, which I think is the penultimate stage of completion. I estimated back in October 2014, that Disney would go to a minimum of HQ level 10 before the release of Star Wars: Episode VII:The Force Awakens. The film opens in theaters on December 18, 2015. It’s just May, yeah! May the 4th Be With You! This is an ongoing series of topics which I would to share to fellow SWC gamers in the community, and those who just play this multi-player game solo.

Hi There!
Thank you for sharing the pointer to your blog post in our squad chat. This is a very enjoyable read and there are some points which I actually share. Please keep on posting newer parts but take your time. I will be happy to read them when they´re out.Greetings from your (current) squad,

It all depends on the topics. We can discuss topics publicly here. Another possibility would be “our” squad forum ( http://swcommander.com/viewforum.php?f=49 ) but squad members would have to register to follow there. This is still better than a discussion via SWC squad chat because the messages there are volatile. There’s no high motivation to write to more text in the chat when it is gone after a day.
An interesting topic about the game would be the players age and family and how these are present on different levels of the game.
I noticed in the squad chat that there are some parents playing in a group. One said he/she is absent for a while and that the child is going to coninue playing in that time. Another said something about his/her daughter wich let me to the conclusion (name=Username) that the daugher does also play in our squad. I won’t mention the usernames here because that would perhaps a bit to personal in the public. (I didn’t take notes also.)
Some 😉 of my childs played SWC. This is also how i came to the game. They chose the dark side, so we didn’t share a squad. They both stopped playing relatively soon.
I would think that many younger players stop playing SWC when the build/waiting times are getting to long and the game gets harder. They lose interest and move on. The older players (like me) are perhaps a bit more stubborn. They take it as a challenge and continue.
Therefore I would guess that the average level 8 player is older than many lower level players.

Thanks for the info. I’ve seen the swcommander site before but didn’t try to register as I thought the official disney forum had more details which I can use.
That’s a very good topic! My friend and I were discussing something similar to that last year and I took notes but never made a squad stat for age groups. I did some personal spreadsheets and the so-called “Hidden Base Score” speculated calculations. I have a separate part for that and I’m just outlining my point of discussions there.
Hopefully I could finish up my Walls blog, Medal’s journey, Training Padawans, ABS musings, Match Video analysis etc. etc.
